Who we are

What we collect, and why

If you use a code

• The code, and the choice you make with it.
• Your name, email, and optionally your phone number and how you like to be contacted — so we can follow through and keep you updated.
• The details needed to deliver what you chose. If you choose a bank transfer, your bank details are stored separately, used only for that purpose, and deleted once it’s complete.
• If you pass your code on, the other person’s name and contact details, which we use only to reach them.

If you request an invitation

• Your name, email, optionally your phone number, and your answer to our question.

If you have an account

• Your email, and a password that is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
• When you sign in, the time and the type of browser you used, so we can spot anything unusual.
• Members receive a fuller privacy policy when they join.

For everyone

• To prevent guessing, we record the network address that enters a code or checks on one. We keep these records for 30 days.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell or rent your information. Ever.
• We don’t use advertising, tracking cookies or analytics tools.

Help from tools

We may use automated tools, including an AI assistant, to help organize and process what you send us. They work only with what’s needed for that task.

Who else is involved

• GitHub hosts the website’s files.
• Supabase stores our data and handles sign-in.
• jsDelivr delivers one of the code libraries the site uses.
• Resend sends our emails.
• Payment services receive only what’s needed to complete a delivery you chose.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or if we believe it’s necessary to protect someone from serious harm.

What’s stored on your device

While you use a code, your progress is kept in your browser until you finish. If you sign in, your session is kept on your device until you sign out.

How long we keep things

Bank details: deleted once used. Security records: 30 days. Everything else: as long as it’s useful to follow through, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete what we hold about you at admin@fracturedego.org. We honor these requests wherever you live.

Age

You must be 18 or older to use this site.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll say so here.
